At INTERCULTURAL Spanish School, our Spanish students can participate in exciting optional activities such as going on local tours of Cuernavaca, watching movies in Spanish, round-table discussions, Mexican culture classes, coffee socials where Spanish students can talk with Mexican locals, Mexican cooking classes, fiestas (parties), musical entertainment, Latin American dance classes, sports activities, and Mexican art classes that are taught by local artisans, designed to teach Spanish students how to make traditional Mexican crafts. For this reason we have always been strongly committed to the Latin American culture and traditions, with a focus on Mexico. Our optional classes on Mexican history, Mexican culture, and contemporary social events help Spanish students practice their comprehension and listening skills, while providing interesting introductions to many topics pertaining to Mexico or Latin America. At INTERCULTURAL Spanish School we believe in balancing academic teaching with exciting physical activities. We are one of the few Spanish language schools in Cuernavaca, Mexico that offer optional, Latin American Dance classes taught by full-time, professional dance instructors. Our dance instructors are certified by the Mexican Dance Federation and they have devoted years to the art of dancing. They specialize in Latin American dances such as the Salsa, Cumbia, Merenge, Danzón, Cha-Cha-Cha, and many other favorites.
